We use Multisim Schematic Layout Pro to Capture, design, and test circuits prior to actually building them in the real world.
This Circuit Simulation Package is a product of National Instruments, an Electronics Design Leader.
The images below are screen shots of the actual software at work. This incredible software allows virtual test instruments like scopes and signal generators to be connected into the circuit with live simulation to view the results.
Upon completion and debugging of the design the schematic is captured and converted into a rats nest and component list which is then exported directly into the Printed Circuit Board Layout Program "Utiboard Pro"
